What are the check-in or check-out times?
The accommodation unit may be occupied from 3 pm on the first day of the contracted period.
The accommodation unit must be vacated by 12:00 noon on the day on which the period ends. The establishment shall assume the customer’s stay to have been extended by one day if they have not vacated the accommodation by the indicated deadline.
Does the hotel offer late check out?
Yes, the hotel offers a late check-out service, depending on availability at the time. We will inform you how to use this service at Reception.

Is smoking allowed in the hotel?
We would remind you that in accordance with Cuban regulations, smoking is not permitted in all enclosed areas of the hotel: common areas, dining room, indoor bar, lounges, rooms and corridors. Smokers may smoke on the outdoor terrace.
How much does it cost to use the safe?
All our rooms are equipped with a complimentary safe where you can leave your documentation and valuables. Please ensure that the door to the safe is firmly shut before leaving your room. On the day of your departure, check that nothing has been left inside, and leave the safe door open.

What’s the climate like in in Varadero?
In Varadero, summers are hot, and winters are short, dry, windy, and generally clear. Throughout the year, temperatures typically range from 19°C to 31°C and rarely drop below 14°C or exceed 33°C.
Which clothes should I bring with me?
We advise packing clothes suitable for a hot climate. Don’t forget your swimwear, and a light jacket for the evenings.
What type of sun cream do you recommend?
The protection factor depends on your skin. If you travel in summer, the temperature can reach more than 35º C and we would advise a minimum factor of 20. With the tropical climate of Dominican Republic is better, particularly for children, prevent the sun from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
What is the currency ?
The official currency in Cuba is the CUP (Cuban Convertible Peso).

The official language is Spanish; however, English is generally understood in the main tourist areas.
Can I exchange currency in the hotel or withdraw money?
The hotel has a currency exchange service at CADECA (Casas de Cambio) from 9:00am to 17:00pm in the lobby area. In addition, you will find ATMs in the area.
Is there a supermarket near the hotel?
No, but we do have a shop inside the hotel. The nearest shopping area is located 12-18 km from the hotel in Plaza Duna, Plaza La Estrella and Plaza Las Terrazas. In the hotel shop you can buy alcoholic beverages, soft drinks and tobacco.

No, but mineral water is available in the mini bar, in addition to mineral water in the bars and restaurants in the resort.

Yes, the hotel has a medical center. Additionally, the nearest hospital is located 10 km from the hotel, it's El Policlínico Dr. Marlo Muñoz. Both services have an additional cost.

Is there a dress code for the hotel restaurants?
Yes, we have a dress code:
- Buffet Restaurant: Swimming costumes and bare chests are not permitted in the buffet restaurant.
- Themed restaurants: guests may wear formal shorts in the themed restaurants. You will not be allowed to enter the themed restaurants wearing a sleeveless shirt or swimming costume.
We recommend you dress more formally at dinnertime.

Booking is necessary for all themed restaurants (subject to availability).
What type of facilities and services do you offer for children?
Children have at their disposal a separate pool, a mini club, a sports area and a wide entertainment programme.
Is there a nanny service?
Yes. The hotel has a nanny service. This is provided at an additional cost. Please ask at reception for information about this service.
Is the hotel accessible for people with reduced mobility?
Yes, all public areas of the hotel (reception, terrace, restaurants and bars, etc.), as well as 4 rooms have been adapted for those with reduced mobility.

Yes, the lift doors are 80cm wide. The interior dimensions are 130cm (width) by 106 m (depth). The handrail is positioned at a height of 90cm.

The bathroom in our accessible rooms has a shower with a slip-resistant, threshold-free floor. The vertical grab bar is located at a height of 70cm to 117cm.

Yes. The access to the swimming pool and sun terrace is flat and there are no obstacles.

Yes, the access to the beach is flat and unobstructed.
What are the online booking conditions?
Flexible rate:
If you cancel at least 48 hours before your arrival date, the hotel will return any deposit you may have paid.
If you cancel after the deadline, the hotel shall charge the amount of the first night, and if the whole booking has been paid, the amount of the first night shall not be refunded.
If you do not show up, the hotel shall charge the amount of the first two nights to the card provided as a guarantee, and if the whole booking has been paid, the amount of the first two nights shall not be refunded.
If you wish to pay the total cost of your booking on arrival at the hotel, your credit card is only necessary as a guarantee for your reservation. The reservation cost will not be charged to your credit card, as payment is to be made at the hotel on the day of arrival, either by credit card or in cash, in local currency and according to the exchange rate of the day. If you cancel two days before your arrival date, you will be charged for the first night of your booked stay; in the case of a no-show, you will be charged for the first two nights.
Sirenis Hotels & Resorts reserves the right to do a pre-authorization for the cost of the first night.

If you wish to cancel a booking made on our website www.sirenishotels.com, you may do so under the section "My Booking" on the home page. You will need to include the email address used at the time of booking, and the booking confirmation code.

How can I change my booking?
If you want to change your original booking and this is permitted by your chosen rate, follow these steps:
1. Firstly, make a new booking at the hotel for the dates you want. Please, bear in mind that the rates and booking conditions shown on the website are subject to change at any time, which is why the cost of the new booking could be different from the original booking. Please, bear in mind that room availability is limited.
2. Once you’ve received the confirmation email for the new booking with a booking code and a copy of the receipt, you should cancel the original booking, from the MY BOOKINGS page you’ll find from the home page.
3. Please make sure that the new booking is made correctly before cancelling the original, so that your accommodation is guaranteed. The booking is confirmed when a booking code is created and a confirmation email is received showing the booking code.
What do I do if I haven’t received an email with the booking confirmation?
