Sirenis Group and the Ibiza Sailing Club Collaboration Agreement

Sirenis Hotels & Resorts has recently donated a rubber dinghy with a 50 hp Yamaha engine to the Ibiza Sailing Club, which will use it for safety in sailing classes taught during the summer season, as well as for the training of different race teams of Ibiza Sailing Club in the Optimist, Laser 4.7, Laser Radial, and Laser Standard class boats and the Snipe double class boat.

Additionally, this vessel will support activities planned for people with special needs within the “A SEA OF POSSIBILITIES” programme, which will be carried out until the 15th of October 2017, and will cover the different races held by the Club through the year.

The President of the Ibiza Sailing Club, Juan Marí, has thanked Sirenis Hotel & Resort for this donation and has highlighted the importance of having boats of this nature “to ensure the safety of our sportspersons”. The Director of Sirenis Group, Pedro Matutes, showed his satisfaction in “being able to collaborate with an entity that carries out such a powerful sporting, educational and social activity and which has been able to maintain its identity and way of being over the years”.

In addition to the President of the Ibiza Sailing Club, Juan Marí, and the Managing Director of Sirenis Group, Pedro Matutes, the event was attended by the Sports Director of the Ibiza Sailing Club, Sebastián Vidal, and the delegate of the Balearic Sailing Federation in Ibiza, Marc Terrasa.
