In Ibiza, the period of totality will reach its peak in Port des Torrent, where the Moon’s shadow will completely cover the Sun for 1 minute and 4 seconds.
The light will turn golden, the atmosphere will change, and the sky will reveal the Sun’s corona – a breathtaking sight that is rarely visible to the naked eye. It will be a truly exceptional spectacle… and at Sirenis Hotels & Resorts, we’ll have a front-row seat.

- Start of the partial eclipse → 19:39 hours
- Start of totality → 20:32:48 hours
- Maximum eclipse → 20:33:17 hours
- End of totality → 20:33:46 hours
- End of the partial eclipse → 20:50 hours
One minute that changes everything
Wherever you choose to watch it, here are a few recommendations to help you enjoy the experience safely and make the most of this extraordinary event.
- Wear ISO 12312-2 certified eclipse glasses
- Always supervise young children
- Never look directly at the Sun, even for a few seconds
- Do not use sunglasses, smoked glass or homemade filters
- Do not observe the eclipse through mobile phones, cameras or binoculars unless they are fitted with appropriate solar filters
- Keep your eclipse glasses on until totality begins, and put them back on again as soon as totality ends
