Sant Joan de Labritja is located at the north of the Island of Ibiza. Here, tranquillity and relaxation prevail, with a small village hidden between farmland, hills of pine forests and stone walls. It is an ideal location for those seeking a place of total peace with a traditional atmosphere.
Nature is very prominent as it has the Es Amunts Special Interest Area, of great ecological value, majestic cliffs and a coast with beautiful beaches such as Benirràs and Cala d’en Serra.
It is made up of the main towns of Sant Vicent de Sa Cala, an extraordinary place which is home to Sa Cova des Culleram, where the legendary bust of the goddess Tanit is found, the emblem of a unique time in Ibiza’s history. On the interior of the island is the town of Sant Llorenç, a jewel of Ibizan architecture which is home to one of the traditional settlements with most historic value: the town of Balàfia.
Sant Miquel de Balansat was formerly a lookout point for potential invasions or raids. Today it is known as Puig, and from here beautiful views can be enjoyed over the town and its fortified church, one of the oldest on the island.
