Ses Salines is one of the most beautiful beaches in Ibiza and forms part of the Ses Salines d’Eivissa i Formentera Natural Park. The beach begins from Sa Punta de Ses Portes and its sandbanks reach Sa Canal. Ses Salines is a fashionable, very popular beach thanks to the atmosphere its restaurants and beach bars provide. There is nothing like relaxing in one of its hammocks. It has an open beach of a considerable length, with fine sand, a turquoise sea and shallow seabed with a gentle slope. With the meadows of posidonia oceanica declared as World Heritage, the whole coast is surrounded by leafy vegetation and junipers protected by the white, undulating dunes, shaped by a gentle breeze that blows from the sea to the land.
On this beach there is a place for all kinds of water activities, from windsurfing to paddle surfing. Additionally, this beautiful beach has one of Ibiza’s watchtowers, the Torre de Ses Portes, at the end of the beach. Going to visit this tower may be a pleasant morning walk.
