Dalt Vila is the name of the walled area that makes up the historic centre of Ibiza, the area which is the most typical postcard image of the city. It is a delight to be able to walk through its cobbled streets full of typical white houses, and reach its highest point, in the cathedral square, to look over the whole city and the port. It is, of course, also an ideal place for having dinner as a couple at any of the charming restaurants of its interior.
Ibiza has the privilege of incredible waters, perfect for both swimming and diving to discover the great biodiversity of the Mediterranean. Here we find great beds of posidonia oceanica seagrass, a marine plant that provides optimal conditions so that a multitude of marine species can live, making the underwater landscape so unique.
Sant Josep, the largest municipality on the island, stretching across the whole south coast, is a perfect place for snorkelling, due to the variety of its coast: sandy beaches, cliffs, hidden coves, fishing areas where we find both timid groupers and schools of fish, curious octopuses and even starfish. Platges de Comte and its surrounding area is perfect for snorkelling, as it has turquoise waters, and is located facing the Illots de Ponent Natural Reserve, a unique immersion for discovering the seabed in its wildest state.
What would Ibiza be without Formentera – and vice versa. This practically unspoilt paradise is one of the most attractive areas for a romantic escape. Its beaches of white sand and crystal clear waters, charming beach bars, hiking paths and hidden coves are idyllic places for a romantic trip. From Santa Eulalia different options with very attractive prices are offered for making a day trip by boat to visit our neighbouring island.
If you want to experience romantic moments by the sea, San Antonio is one of the most privileged towns of the island, as it is located on the west coast, allowing visitors to see one of the most amazing sunsets of the Mediterranean. From here, each evening you will be able to see how the sun sets over the islets of the west, an unforgettable moment to enjoy by your partner’s side.
The Island of Ibiza may not be famous for being romantic, but in reality, in addition to being a destination that visitors fall in love with, Ibiza is also an authentic paradise to enjoy as a couple.
